Book Review: Motherhood Discounted by Carolyn McConnell

This week I’ve been working through the final pages of Motherhood Discounted by Carolyn McConnell. This upcoming book journeys through the history and mothers as it relates to reproductive autonomy and care work within the home. It’s a poignant and thoughtful argument on the need for more support for mothers both in and out of the home, and a plea for support of women’s right to chose what is best for their bodies.

With time spent reading, I’ve had many weekend mornings and weekday evenings on the couch with a blanket and a cup of Bella Luna tea. I’ve been fortunate to receive an #ARC from the publisher for review, as well as a brand new tea from Adagio Teas. A vibrant colour, but a calming and taste, the Early Grey Bella Luna is a solid addition to my tea collection (https://www.adagiotea.eu/black/earl_grey_bella_luna_tea.html).

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ to both!
