I’ve just published a review of Jonathan Haidt’s The Anxious Generation — a book that has stayed with me long after I finished reading it. Haidt’s exploration of smartphones, social media, childhood, and the mental health of young people feels particularly timely as parents are increasingly navigating questions about screens, algorithms, and when (and how) our children should enter the online world.
As a parent raising a young reader, this one resonated with me in a particularly personal way.
