Stunning photography, a simple dialogue, and detailed facts combine to create an engaging and lively story of the red fox: the various environments it explores and its many characteristics. This book is both visually engaging and interesting for young readers to learn about this curious and adorable little being.

As far as children’s books go, this one is unique in that it’s filled with stunning and evocative images. No drawings or cartoons here. It’s real-life and it’s very engaging for young readers. There’s a particularly striking centre-fold image that had my little reader totally engaged. Once we reached this image, we weren’t able to progress any further, he loved it so much.

The basic story that drives this book is simple enough and short enough to engage even the youngest of readers. But the additional facts will be greater for older readers to learn and engage with this beautiful creature on a deeper level. This is a beautiful book that young readers can learn and grow with.

I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did.

Happy reading!
