The artwork is simply magical with a touch of the fantastical. It takes the reader through reality and dreamland, bringing the writing to life in a clean and artful manner.
Little Worn pages is a bit too young to really understand the story in any way, but he was intrigued by the imagery. This book is full of bright colours and engaging patterns. The pictures are easily describable so I could explain to him what each image was. This will be a permanent part of our book collection, so I know we will return to it again and again. I look forward to when he can comprehend the story so I can share the beauty of it. We’ll be able to read and dream together.
