Hi there readers,
You’re used to seeing my weekly reviews each Tuesday, but I wanted to change things up this week to give you a heads up about some changes in my life. Full disclosure, I’m writing this in advance and scheduling it, because I can’t predict how things are going to unfold over the next few weeks. You may have seen (or maybe not!) that Mr. Worn Pages and I are expecting a new little reader to be joining our family and day now (if they haven’t made an early entrance yet!).
Worn Pages and Ink has been a hugely important part of my life for about 7 years now, and it will continue to be moving forward. Many of you have been avid readers for years and I am SO grateful to every single one of you. I’d like to ask during the next few months that you have some patience and understanding as I adjust to life as a new mom and as I figure out how to navigate raising our little one, reading, and blogging. I am so passionate about Worn Pages and I want to keep giving you reviews and suggestions that I genuinely love and believe in. I’m working right now to read as much as I can and schedule reviews in advance, but just know, if there is a break in the reviews, if I go quite for a while, I’m just here in the background adapting to our new life and I will be back as soon as I can.
You may also notice a slight change to content. My reviews have generally reflected my preferences in the types of books I like to read: literary fiction, YA fiction, and occasionally nonfiction and graphic novels. I’ve recently breached into the parenting book sector and I will likely also start looking to children’s books as well. I hope you’ll stick with me as the reviews grow and change. I hope to keep Worn Pages as versatile and varied as ever to showcase the wonderful array of books available in many genres.
In any case, I hope you’ll continue to stick around to see what suggestions are to come. Thank you for your continued support and attention each week. I appreciate every single one of you. As always, happy reading!
