Release date isn’t until October of this year, but I’m dying to get a copy of this book and I’m still working on the second one. This is such a great series. If you haven’t looked into it yet, I highly suggest that you do. 😉

Agreed! I love the world she constructs in this series. I had goosebumps the entire time. What did you think of her other series?

I liked the Shiver series, but not as much as the Faerie books she wrote. I love her mythology books because they tie in so many forgotten aspects of different cultures. I think my favorite book from her was Scorpio Races. I loved the whole girls can do anything guys can do aspect and the romance was just the icing on the cake.

I’ve been looking at the covers and both series look very appealing. You’re comments make them sound even better than they look. 🙂 Once I finish with The Dream Thieves I’ll look into the Faerie books especially. It’s wonderful to see those forgotten aspect resurrected in modern stories. It adds so much to the story line and creates this wonderful sense of history and intrigue.

I completely agree. Fantasy is definitely my favorite genre,but when there’s a little history added it really defines the plot and adds a new layer so the story doesn’t become fluff.

It’s so true! I enjoy the Fantasy genre as well, but the one’s that I’ve always been drawn to, and those that have been my favourites, always have that historical element to them. But I will take your suggestion and look into the Faeries books. It’s been too long since I’ve really enjoyed a good Fantasy book.
